This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes in conducting assessment. It details the requirements for organizing assessment activities, preparing the candidate,
gathering and evaluating evidence, making assessment decision, recording and providing feedback on assessment outcome.

  • Interpret Training Regulations, Competency Standards, and Assessment Guidelines.
  • Organize assessment activities following TESDA competency assessment procedures.
  • Prepare candidates for assessment using the official TESDA assessment process.
  • Apply the Rules of Evidence and Principles of Assessment during evidence gathering.
  • Conduct observation, oral questioning, portfolio assessment, and document review.
  • Make valid and reliable competency decisions based on gathered evidence.
  • Complete TESDA assessment forms and assessment documentation accurately.
  • Prepare assessment paraphernalia and organize an assessment center before assessment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and manage reassessment and appeal procedures.
  • Conduct a complete simulated competency assessment from preparation to final evaluation.
  • Develop confidence to perform the duties of a TESDA Competency Assessor.
